Come to The Chatterbox Cafe and join us, meet people, make new friends, chat and enjoy browsing our arts and crafts. Watch people creating their goods and have a go if you wish. We have some unusual items for you to see along with special demonstrations once a month. It will be held every Tuesday from 10.00am until 1pm at 50p per adult (includes a free drink) and the little people are free. TheChatterbox Cafe will make to order freshly made sandwiches, hot dogs, bacon butties, toasted sandwiches and rather naughty home made cakes, ices along with hot and cold drinks. All available at between 50p and £1. This event forms part of an important fund raising exercise for the Registered Charity 'Parent Support Link', who provide support, information and understanding to families and friends of people who use drugs and alcohol. This vital service has been working in Hampshire for many years but has now had their funding slashed due to the current financial situation. Christine, the lady who started the charity and who is still actively involved today, was awarded the National Award 2014 of 'Inspirational Woman of the Year', so very deservedly earned. Without her determination this service would simply have disappeared and the success would not have been a benefit to so many families, not only in Southampton, but the whole of Hampshire.
